Antioch (Vusillus Old Face, Vusilius) ( Ralph Hancock: Shareware). This is an adjusted version of Athena Unicode, distributed with the Greekkeys Unicode package. New Athena Unicode (also AttikaU, KadmosU, and BosporosU) (American Philological Association c/o Donald Mastronarde: Freeware). It is also meant to show you how various characters will appear if you have the Greek font properly installed in your system.Īs of this writing, the following Unicode fonts support polytonic Greek:

StatV (statvolt) 299.792458 m2.kg.s-3.This page contains a list of Unicode fonts and links to information about these fonts and how to download them. All are included for completeness note that many do not make sense in the context of region files. These are all allowed units, as defined by the quanta toolkit module. Symbol, D], linewidth=2, coord=J2000, symsize=2 # A diamond marker, in J2000 coordinates: ellipse,, 45rad], range=, corr=, color=green, label='Removed this' # Cuts an ellipse out of the previous regions, but only for Q and a particular frequency range:

See Appendix A for a complete list of allowed units, as defined by the quanta toolkit module. For purely single-pixel work there are alternate methods which may be preferable to using regions, eg. If any fractional pixel is covered, the entire pixel is used. Units must always be included when defining a region. 18h12m24s for right ascension or -03.47.27.1 for declination Note that most parameters beyond the shape and its coordinates can be defined globally. The possible parameter/value pairs are described in more detail below. Some tasks, like clean, require that a region cannot be entirely outside the image.Īll regions lines will follow this general arrangement: Annotations: these are used by display tasks, and are for visual reference only. They will be displayed by visualization tasks as well as used to create masks, etc., as appropriate. Regions: all regions are considered by tasks. The parameters set here may also be overridden by keywords in a specific line, in which case the keywords pertain only to that one line. The second line of a file may define global parameters that are to be used for all regions and annotations in that file, in which case the line starts with the word "global". Lines that begin with the comment character (#) are not considered for processing or display. To indicate an annotation, a line must begin with "ann".
Region files have two different kinds of definitions, "regions" and "annotations", each of which is one line long. One may also include an optional version number at the end of the string, so it reads " #CRTFv0" this indicates the version of the format definition. "CRTF" stands for "CASA Region Text Format".
